Tenuta di Canonica is located on the summit of a hill overlooking the town of Todi, amidst the silvery olive trees that dominate the Tiber Valley, to 45 kms from Perugia. Tenuta di Canonica  opens its doors with the welcome of a private residence in a warm family atmosphere.

The building used to be a monastery and has been exceptionally beautifully restored. There are twelve bedrooms in the main house, each one individually decorated in lovely colors, and elegantly furnished with antiques. The rooms must be the most stylish in Umbria, and each has its own equally stylish tiled bathroom, with bath or shower.

The atmosphere is more like a country house than a hotel. Downstairs there is a large, comfortable sitting room with a fireplace and a library as well as a dining room, but in summer, meals, which are cooked by request, are taken outside on the terrace. From here you can see Todi and Lake Corbara in the distance.

The views from the large swimming pool are equally spectacular, and many people will be happy to spend much of their time here and in the rest of the grounds and the house. Here they will receive warm hospitality from Maria and Daniele, who own the property and are responsible for its elegant restoration.

From every angle of the garden, a 360° view spans the surrounding hills, the Corbara Lake , the city of Todi and the woods on the grounds of Tenuta.
