"We loved our stay at the Terceira Mar Hotel in Terceira, Azores, Portugal at the end of March 2006! Our room was modest, but clean and comfortable. The setting on the edge of the ocean was beautiful. The most spectacular part of our visit, though, was the wonderful front desk staff that was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were very friendly and answered every question we had, helped us contact a relative and arranged dinner reservations for us. One recommendation I would have for this hotel and all hotels in Portugal (and elsewhere) is to increase the number of no smoking rooms. As you probably are aware, there is a lot of smoking in Portugal and we were exposed to lots of smoke in all the hotels in Portugal (we stayed 2 wks and travelled throughout the Azores and mainland)."

"The stay was wonderful, and the hotel was beautiful. The staff was extremely courteous and efficient. The only thing that needs to be changed is that the hotel needs to install more wireless internet hubs. You could only get internet when you were in the bar, or one of the lounges. As a business traveler, you need to work at all hours of day, and it�s convenient if it can be done from the comfort of your room."
