Between
the sea and the mountain two modern villas were joined together to build La
Terrasse au Soleil. The name of this hotel means in English, sun bathed terraces, it was given this
name because most of the rooms have wonderful terraces facing the splendid view of mount
Canigou. All the rooms are decorated in lively colors of the south
of France: Yellow and blue. In the main house, on top of the restaurant, they have
connecting rooms which are usually rented by families and a very nice apartment as well
with lots of space and very comfortable modern installations. The rest of the rooms are on
a building strip, like a motel, each with an independent outside entrance and a lovely
balcony with an absolutely breathtaking view, just perfect to enjoy an afternoon drink or
a room service breakfast. At the end of the property, way in the back, is a separate
building with the suites, which are very spacious, nicely decorated and all with terraces
that enjoy that wonderful valley view. This four star hotel is less than twenty five
kilometers from the beach and at the same time, very near to the Spanish border. A heated
swimming pool and a well lit tennis court are part of the installations. |
