The Morgan is a hotel very
peculiar in the sense that it can be considered a "off the beaten track"
hotel, because it is located in the beaten track, meaning right in the
heart of Temple Bar, the part of Dublin's city centre where all the pubs,
restaurants and shops are, thus you go everywhere walking... And at the
same time, the hotel is off the beaten track in the sense that it is a
design hotel totally out of the ordinary, with very comfortable rooms.
The Morgan really exceeded our expectations when we visited it, because
having liked very much the room we got (we stayed in a deluxe), the next
day when I met with the Sales and Marketing manager so that she would
show me the rest of the hotel, I found out The Morgan had just been
purchased by a new owner who was having the whole place refurbished, and
adding more space in the reception plus a restaurant.  |
