Solar panels are used for water heating and photovoltaic cells generate electricity in order to reduce consumption of mains power. Low energy lighting is installed throughout the building. Rain harvesting supplies water for sanitary use and garden irrigation. A reverse osmosis system produces purified drinking water from the mains supply, reducing emissions created by the transport of bottled water and the recycling of glass. Preference is given to local sources of produce in order to reduce the carbon footprint of The Yeatman's supplies.
Making up one of the few remaining significant areas of green vegetation in the central area of the city, The Yeatman's extensive gardens are managed as a refuge for rare and endangered local plant species and a haven for local and migratory birds.
Care has been taken to preserve several mature trees already growing on the site.
The Yeatman has also been designed to harmonise with the city landscape, using materials and an architectural style which allow it to blend.

The Wine Partner associated with Master Suite 411 is Taylor’s, the well known Port brand that has been producing port for over 300 years and the room has been decorated to include many features and artifacts from the Taylor’s brand and its vineyards.

The bed head is an original barrel top and the domed oak ceiling mimics the curvature of the enormous oak barrels used in the vinification process.
Master Suite 412 has approximately 85m² of room area, a beautiful furnished indoor terrace of approximately 30m² and a bathroom area of approximately 25m².
The Wine Partner associated with Master Suite 412 is ADF. ADF wines are produced by the famous Douro wine producer, Niepoort. The room is decorated with several artefacts and photos pertaining to ADF.

Master Suite 414 is incredibly light and airy, with carpeted floors, a spacious living room area, private dressing room area, covered terrace and undoubtedly, its most spectacular feature, a four poster barrel bed. The bed is set within an enormous oak barrel, raised off the ground on small pillars, with dual stair access from either side.
Opening onto a large 12 metre long terrace, this suite offers more than 150m2 (1615 square feet) of exquisite comfort and luxury.
The perfect urban retreat from the bustling streets of historic Porto, The Artist Suite is designed in a contemporary classic style. The lounge (39m2) is equipped with sofa area, with LCD television and a dining table located in front of the fireplace. The bedroom has a second television for your convenience and king size bed. Leading on from the sleeping area is a desk and workspace.
As with all rooms and suites at the hotel, The Artist Suite is no exception in having panoramic views from the bathtub, from where you can relax and indulge in the beautiful views. There is also a spacious double walk-in shower.

Boasting approximately 150m² in total, and a high vaulted wooden ceiling, The Bacchus Suite extends onto a furnished conservatory with fireplace and a private exterior terrace from which to marvel at the splendid panoramic views of Porto and the River Douro.
A round copper Jacuzzi features a freestanding fireplace to one side and city views to the other, whilst the large rotating bed can be positioned to view one of two large plasma TV screens or to face the expansive views offered by 6 metres of floor to ceiling sliding doors.

Reservations
Reservations can be made directly with the Spa by telephone. Please reserve your treatment as early as possible to ensure availability, particularly when booking multiple treatments or packages.
Arrival
We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before your treatment begins. This allows you to relax and enjoy the facilities of our tranquil and luxurious spa environment. We regret that treatment times cannot be extended when guests arrive late.
Cancellation policy
It is advisable to confirm your appointment 24 hours prior to the scheduled treatment. Cancellations may be made up until 24 hours prior to the treatment.
Gift Vouchers
The Yeatman Spa vouchers make very special and unique gifts. Vouchers are available for specific treatments and programmes. Alternatively there are vouchers of various values that can be used in part or full payment for any chosen Spa service. Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
