For all kinds of skiing, for all levels
Val Thorens is above all heaven on hearth as it comes to skiing or
snowboarding. Thanks to the outstanding snow conditions and the relief,
any kind of level will be able to express himself : rather or very easy
around the resort, and getting more difficult as you reach the tops.
It's also the choice between 3 different ski areas :
Val Thorens and Orelle (140 km of marked runs), the Vallée des
Belleville (300 km) and the 3 Vallées (600 km of marked runs).
Val Thorens also gives you the guarantee of outstanding snow conditions
thanks to the altitude (99 percent of the Val Thorens ski area is
situated above 2.000 meters) and an impressive amount of snow cannons
(1500 on the whole 3 Vallées area).
Skiing 8 months during the year: Fall skiing on the Péclet
glacier from November 8th (according to snow conditions), winter skiing
from December till March, spring skiing from April till mid Mai and
summer skiing on the Péclet glacier from the beginning of July.
