At
the centre of a natural rock and ice bowl, Val Thorens offers amazing
skiing. Built in the early 70's the
resort offers a warm village atmosphere: walking through the resort, you
will see a chapel, a charming square with its stone fountain and wrought
iron signs. In the evening, the lively atmosphere in the streets makes it
very friendly.
The resort speaks for itself: 600 kilometers of runs, 200 ski lifts in the
world's largest skiing area, the "3 Vallées" (Courchevel, La
Tania, Méribel, Saint Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens).
Val
Thorens now offers high quality
accommodation inspired from the Savoie architectural style of stone and
wood. With direct access to the slopes, Hotel Le Val Thorens welcomes you
in luxurious mountain surroundings. High standard of accommodation and
decor with an enviable range of facilities: 3 restaurants - piano bar - sun
terrace - fitness centre - reading room with open fire place - central
lounge with pine beams and fountain - ski shop etc. Please take a note
that the reservations must be from Saturday to Saturday. Single-bedded
rooms and three-bedded rooms must be 'on request' basis.
