Arcadia is
located right at the heart of the Peloponnese, a central
province that boasts landscapes so beautiful as to leave you

valleys, gorges and rivers, forests and farmed fields, archeological
sites and Byzantine monasteries all reside on the historical soils of
Arcadia, the heart
of
the Peloponesse. Lazy

theatre at Megalopoli, and the remote Temple of Bassae,
while walkers cannot fail to be impressed by the lush

Stemnitsa, not far
Trikolonion hotel is a
historical, noble village founded in the
12th century.
Built
on
a steep mountain slope of the fir-covered Menalos
mountain,
overlooking the Lousios River, and surrounded by a spectacular landscape at the center of a
historical area. Dimitsana, Vitina, Karitaina. Stemnitsa, flourished
and bloomed after 1700 mainly because of its metal workers.
Goldsmiths, silversmiths, as well as the artisans who crafted church
bells brought fame and wealth to the village. Today, Stemnitsa is thriving and
provides the ideal destination for excursions or holidays – just two
and a half hours from Athens – with a unique climate and a full
variety of choices for lovers of nature, culture and … gastro

Marvel at the
ancient sanctuary of Epikourius Apollo (a temple constructed by
Iktinus - the architect of the Parthenon himself) Ancient
Olympia – the birthplace of the Olympic games.
The old
castle perched above the village of Karitaina, built by a French
feudal lord in 1245, it was a strategic strong hold during the
rebellion in 1826.
