Lying in the shadow of the
Place du Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower, Les Jardins du Trocadero
inhabits a prestigious neighbourhood near some of most impressive
museums and the most famous avenue in the world. The hotel is surrounded
by a curtain of trees, creating a peaceful, charming atmosphere. The
architecture and décor, which include a wonderful sculpted metal door,
are quite simply sumptuous: gaudy stones, marbles, and drapes in
Napoleon III style, stylishly furniture and frescos painted by art-school
students. The bar boasts stone walls, warm, stylishly covered furniture
and elegant drapes. Les Jardins du Trocadéro offers well-lit rooms of
various sizes, nearly all of which look over the Palais de Chaillot or
the famous Place du Trocadero and the Eiffel tower. Decorated in
Napoleon III style throughout, each floor and room nevertheless is
personalized and varies from the next in terms of colour and furnishings:
luxury tissue, stylishly furniture, and orthopaedic beds.
Les Jardins du Trocadero has been nominated "most charming hotel" two years in a row; the hotel has spa baths in every marble bathroom, and murals by
the Beaux-Arts de Paris Art School. |
