Built in the XIII & XIV
century, a 100 acres of ground on the banks of the Cousin Rive. The
luxury moated Chateau de Vault de Lugny is an exceptionally enchanting chateau with very comfortable rooms
and bathrooms, all beautifully decorated. Upon arriving at this chateau
the first thing you find is a closed gate from where it is necessary to
ring an intercom so they can open it from the inside. Once past the gate,
you drive slowly into the property until you reach the front of the
chateau, where there will be staff members who already know who you are,
and are there waiting to welcome you, carry the luggage, and show to
your room. All of this provides the first taste of the chateau lifestyle.
Once in the room, another staff member comes bringing complimentary
white wine and appetizers; by then, you really feel like being in a high
class place, and you are! Dinning at the Chateau de Vault de Lugny is
also an unforgettable experience with the authentic Burgundy cuisine.
The Menu features regional specialties, served with seasonal produce
from the Chateau's own garden and local farms. The wine cellar boasts an
exclusive selection of the Burgundy vintages. |
