Wedding & Events

Your wedding at Vedema Resort, is an experience that you should not ever forget.
Weddings can be arranged either in the hotel (indoor), or in the beach, or wherever you decide.
The hotel takes care of all the legal documents that the clients will need in order to get married at Santorini, and also for the flower arrangements for the ceremony, the reception, and your room.

Wedding reception can be arranged with selected menus and music according to your preferences.
The reception can be arranged either in the "Pool Restaurant", in the "Vinsanto" Restaurant, or in our "Canava" Wine Bar, for more privacy.
Private bonfire dinner and/or barbecue on the beach are organized for a wedding and a reception that neither of you or the guests will never forget.

Wedding cakes suggestions are also provided if desired by host.
Also in addition and upon request the hotel can provide hairdresser, make-up artist, manicure, pedicure, massage and use of the spa with body and face treatments.

Photographer and video for your ceremony and reception can also be arranged.

Out of the 56 islands that the Cyclades complex, the one that takes the prize for sheer photographic quality and elegance is Santorini. It is located at the south end, bathed in golden sunlight and surrounded by clear blue sea.
Her name is officially Thera but Santorini is what the island is called most of the time. She covers an area of 96 s.q. meters with almost 11.000 people living here, in summer.
Discover the sugar-cube white houses, the twisting cobbled alleyways and blue-domed churches, but also its imposing landscape, the caldera, with its impressionistic contrasts of color and its black sand beaches. Santorini’s dramatic beauty was created by massive volcanic eruption that has taken place three and a half thousand years ago.
Today the inner edge of the island plunges almost 300 meters into the deep blue sea and it is speculated that this is what of the legendary lost city of Atlantis.
Santorini is certainly steeped in a rich history. Its many archaeological sites include Akrotiri, known for the famous ruins from the Minoan period and one of the inspiring sites in Greece. A visit to the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Prehistoric thira is also a must.
Located near the airport and the port of Athinios, the Vedema Resort is convenient to all area attractions. Take an excursion to the nearby Akrotiri excavations, or lounge on the magnificent black sand beach of Perivolos. Day trips to nearby islands offer glimpses of volcanic structures and hot springs.
Water sports are available at the Kamari and Perissa Beach, both of which have diving centers.
Horseback riding can be arranged through the Concierga Desk, in order to explore the island in a different way.
Santorini has fertile volcanic soil. Cultivated carefully over the year, this soil has made Santorini well known for its products. First of all its wines. Santorini has some of the best wines worldwide. After all, the biggest part of the cultivation is vines. “Fava” is also famous, a legume smaller than a pea, exported all over the world.
