At the gateway to Florence,
amid the gentle rolling hills of the Chianti landscape, lies the great
estate of Le Rose; within it, surrounded by gardens and olive groves, is
a fascinating Renaissance mansion, Villa Le Rose.
The villa complex, which
stands at the end of a great driveway of ancient cypresses, is built
around a courtyard. On one side is the Villa, an aristocratic manor
dating from Medicean times, ready to welcome those who wish to enjoy
hospitality on the very highest level of international hotellerie; on
the other side is the Tower, the private residence of the owners of the
estate.
Next to the Villa is ‘the Cedar garden’, a sweeping lawn enclosed by
high hedges and ancient trees, embellished by antique rose bushes and
pietra serena pedestals bearing potted lemon trees, in which rises a
magnificent Cedar of Lebanon over 300 years old, for which the garden is
named.
Within the complex is a swimming pool, available for use by guests of
the Villa.
The Villa is built on several floors; its various sections are arranged
in a plan typical of aristocratic villas. On the ground floor is the
Sala delle Feste, a ballroom which is a fine example of 18th century
rural architecture; a large living room with frescoed walls, a welcoming
study and spacious dining room. The “Baldacchino Suite”, also on this
level, is distinctive for the richness of its furnishing and decoration,
with a great canopied bed and an entirely frescoed bathroom with
fireplace. On the upper floor are five suites, each of them embellished
with original furnishing, decorated ceilings and large windows opening
onto a striking unforgettable landscape.
The beauty of this setting is further enhanced by the exclusive service
offered by Villa Le Rose: a team of professionals ensures that
everything is done perfectly and every desire is satisfied in an
atmosphere of total discretion.
Villa Le Rose invites you to enter the harmonious, composed elegance of
its Renaissance architecture and to indulge in exclusive hospitality,
reserved to those who can appreciate the pleasure of a luxury that has
indeed become rare. |
