Hotel Facilities

The hall is located in the middle of the Villa. Two wings are branched out: on the left it is possible to reach the meeting rooms and the billiard room, on the right it is possible to find the bar, the rooms and the restaurants. In the front, there is a solarium, a park and a little chapel.

It is furnished in excellent taste, both the wooden beam ceilings and floors are Venetian style in pink marble from Verona.
Always at the ground floor there are the reception, a cloakroom, a large bar, a billiard-room and a little tavern, that is a beautiful place to meet in the evenings, due to its warm and private atmosphere. The furniture have an excellent taste and most of all are originals, like the wooden-bean ceilings and the floors in the Venetian style, with rose marbles from Verona.

The park
Villa Tacchi’s complex rests in the middle of a beautiful park, known its refined style.
The trickle of the fountains combines with the sounds of the many birds, that habit this peaceful oasis next to a small lake.
For moments of relaxation, the park includes hundred year-old trees like cedears, beeches, poplar trees, magnolias and offers water fountains, a historical chapel and the magnificent swimming pool.

The restaurant is the ideal venue for birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, family re-union or any private party.

Villa Tacchi, a residence of Palladian design, is located seven kilometers from Vicenza, encircled by the green countryside.

The beauty and glamour of this villa, constructed at the end of the seventeenth century, come from its simple purity and subtle connection with its surrounding landscape. Its first owners was Gazzo Beretta, a rich family from Venice.

Recently Medical Systems has transformed the villa into a meeting center, complete with modern equipment for workshops, stages, conventions and lectures. In doing so, it has sought to preserve the original traditions and history of the building.
 

The Icebox

The dome shaped addition to the Villa, constructed at the end of the eighteenth century, represented a modernization of contemporary ice boxes, which had been previously made by digging a hole in the ground and covering it with a layer of leaves.

The function of the icebox was to preserve the largest quantity of ice possible. Its old shape was later replaced by stones to form the base and the walls, thereby avoiding direct contact between the ground, water and air.

The circular structure represented the best solution to balance the force of the ground against the lateral icebox surface, its shape increased the ice capacity for a longer amount of time.

Thanks to the innovation, it was possible to preserve ice for several months and the owners were able to keep food and beverages fresh.
