Restaurant "Dolium"

The restaurant is situated in the Villa and is open daily for lunch from 01.00 until 02.30 pm and for dinner from 07.30 until 09.30 pm.
Enjoy your meals in one of our beautifully decorated dining rooms or, weather permitting, in the historic Italian garden. Savour from refined regional delicacies inspired by freshest ingredients and seasonal flavours accompanied by great Umbrian wines from our exclusive selection.
For a comfy dinner in your room make use of our exclusive room service available from 07.30 until 09.30 pm.
Our rich buffet breakfast is available from 08.00 until 10.00 am and either served in the breakfast room or, weather permitting, outside in the garden. On request breakfast is served in the room between 08.00 and 10.30 am.

Dolium: La Terrazza

"La Terrazza” (the terrace) is open during the warm season with tables located in the shade of the centuries old lime trees inviting to settle down and wallow in the view of the formal Italian garden with geometric box hedges, the scenting variety of roses, the orange and lemon trees in large cotto buckets... This is the ideal place to treat oneself to savouring the delicious suggestions of our chef while experiencing the pleasant Mediterranean climate.

Dolium: La Cantina
The owners of Villa di Monte Solare, Filippo and Rosi Iannarone, began a passionate research and selection of exclusively Umbrian produced wines in 1989. After a few years the Villa di Monte Solare Cantina’s wine list was recognised as the most important and widest range of selected Umbrian wines in the world. Today the wine list includes more than 400 Umbrian wines including whites, reds and spumanti from the best, most well known producers, as well as many particular and rare wines from small and very skilled producers.

The Bar

It is always a pleasant occasion for our guests to socialise and meet at the Bar of the Villa. The Bar is open from 10 am in the morning with coffee bar, freshly squeezed juices and a exclusive tea menu with a vast variety of teas by “Ronnefeldt” as well as soft drinks, wines and other alcoholic drinks. A selection of baguettes is available during the whole day in addition to homemade cakes and ice-cream.
The Bar also invites guests to take an aperitif served with the chefs’ amuse-bouche of the day either in the elegant Turchetto and Stemmi rooms or, weather permitting, in the garden.

Beauty SPA “Le Muse”

Inspired by the myth of the nearby Muserale valley, where Apollo relished the arts of the nine goddesses, Le Muse was opened in June 2005. It is situated in the Villa’s historic Italian garden inside the “Limonaia” which was build in 1750, former lemon house of the estate, with large arched windows and high ceilings. Le Muse provides for eight treatment rooms, including a Tepidarium with Sauna, steam bath, emotional shower and hydro massage Jacuzzi tub as well as a comfy relaxation area. It has been designed for visitors who appreciate privacy and personal attention and features a beauty treatment menu by “Carita Paris”, with a unique and highly prestigious range of skin care and beauty treatments described as “the most transforming creams and lotions known to womankind”.

Meetings

We provide for exclusive meetings and private gatherings for up to 40 participants. The meeting room “La Sala Calessi” has 48 sq.m. with natural daylight and provides for latest technological support. Our historic chapel “Santa Lucia” may be the perfect spot to exchange wedding vows
in a special and intimate setting. Whatever the occasion, our staff will make sure everything will run smoothly and our chef will delight every taste with a wide choice of fine dishes.
