THINGS TO DO IN VENEZIA |

Regata Storica (raced every year on the first
Sunday of September in Venice, in the afternoon) is the most important row

crews dressed in historical and traditional costumes. |

The Venetian Carnival is an international
event becoming more and more important each year thanks to the
participation of thousands of people who gather in the streets and squares.
The Venetian Carnival is different from all others, because of the
participation of the entire population and tourists from all over the
world, as well as the city's interesting past. |

Riviera Fiorita, is probably the most
important event of the Brenta Riviera, that involves directly all the

ABOUT PADOVA (At 15 Kms.) |
| |
|
Probably
better known as the city of St. Anthony or as the economic capital
of Veneto, Padua is one of the most important Art Cities in Italy.
Its face is marked by 3000 years of history. Founded as a
fishermen's village, in the 4th century BC. it became the most
important centre of the Venetians.
Many visitors stay in more affordable Padova and commute to high-priced
Venice. Of course, Padova doesn't have the beauty of Venice and
suffers from high-rises and urban blight, but its inner core has a
wealth of attractions. Its university, Italy's second oldest, adds
life and vibrancy. |
