Private House – Private Pool – 10 people – 4 bedrooms – 4 bathrooms
Casa al Ponte is a large villa located near the ancient town of Figline Valdarno which is in the centre of a triangle formed by the cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The town’s historic area has a medieval piazza surrounded by buildings of importance which house fine works of art. Florence is approximately 30km away and both Siena and Arezzo are within easy reach.
The swimming pool is located a few metres from the villa in the beautiful well maintained gardens. It has a paved surround with sun loungers, planted pots and mature trees which provide shade during the heat of the day. From here there are spectacular views over vineyards and rolling countryside to the Valdarno and Pratomagno hills in the distance.
The entrance to this very attractive villa is via a covered loggia. The front door opens into a wide entrance hall with terracotta tiled floors and a traditional tiled and beamed ceiling. Doors ahead lead to the main stairwell with a door on the left to a bathroom with shower.
Continuing on ahead is the dining room which has an oval dining table and chairs, to one side is a wooden dresser and in the corner an open fireplace.
The well equipped kitchen is off to the left, this unusually shaped semi circular room has large windows making it very bright and airy. There is a modern oven with gas hobs, a microwave oven, dishwasher and free standing fridge/freezer.
The large full height windows allow plenty of light into the room and a door opens onto a sizeable paved fully furnished terrace. To the right of the lounge, steps lead up to a utility room with washing machine and internal access to the covered loggia, this has a door out to the garden near to the pool.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms, each one of which is individually, tastefully furnished. On the right is a large bedroom with a double bed with painted scrollwork bed frame. This is a very light, restful space with painted wooden furniture a large wardrobe and painted ceilings. There is also a double sofabed to one side.
A further flight of stairs leads up to the second level where there is a very pretty bedroom with a painted wooden double bed, large wardrobe and matching furniture. Opposite is the bathroom with shower
Outside the garden wraps around the house on three sides. This has been beautifully planted with shrubs and trees. Also there are numerous pots and tubs which have been planted with colourful geraniums and other Mediterranean flowers dotted around the grounds.
There is a tiled circular loggia near to the pool which is a great space to relax away from the heat of the day.
There is a shaded private car park at Casa al Ponte.

Villa Acacia is a beautifully restored five bedroom four bathroom country house with a great deal of warmth and charm. Secluded from its sole neighbour its setting affords great views across the Valdarno valley that stretches from Florence to Rome with the Appenini mountains as a dramatic backdrop to the countryside location.
The flat landscape immediately surrounding the house are olive groves and vineyards, allowing plenty of space to wander and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the property’s extensive grounds. The hills above are graced by the old pilgrims trail lined with seven antique hamlets, topped by Vallombrosa locally known for a visit from the Queen of England. There is a 12 x 6 metre pool a few metres away from the villa.
Inside, the traditional beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are highlighted by lovely furnishings and walls painted in rich pastels. Entering through the front door the fully fitted kitchen to the left is equipped with oven, gas hobs, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
Ahead four steps take you down to the living room which has a beautiful old fire place which can also be used for grilling meat in true Tuscan style.
To the right is the dining room, because of the old stone walls of Casa a Cascia this room stays cool in the summer. It has a large dining table that seats twelve.
To the right there is a double bedroom, although this is the smallest of the bedrooms there is an impressive four-poster bed and it is a very comfortable bedroom with high quality soft furnishing. En suite to this room there is a small W.C.
From the front door stairs lead up to the landing, there is oak wood flooring throughout the upstairs apart from the bathrooms. Ahead is the main bathroom, a bright room decorated with hand painted terracotta tiles, there is a full size bath tub which includes a whirl pool and a shower fitting.
To the left there are two bedrooms a twin and a triple. Both bedrooms are spacious with tasteful furnishing and ample wardrobe space. The triple bedroom has a double bed and a single bed.
To the right there are another two bedrooms a twin and a triple. Similar to the other two upstairs bedrooms, both bedrooms are spacious with tasteful furnishing and ample wardrobe space. The triple bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower.
The double doors from the lounge area lead out to a large terrace furnished both with tables and chairs for al fresco meals and comfortable loungers for afternoons in the sunshine.
Private House – Private Pool – 10 people – 5 bedrooms – 3 bathrooms + WC
Perched on a green and forested valley of the Chianti, in the small picturesque village of Lucolena, sits Villa Luce, a comfortable country home with a private pool and open views from its raised terraces.
The well-tended terraced gardens are planted with flowers typical of the Chianti area giving a fragrant aroma throughout. The garden leads down to the swimming pool.
The swimming pool has been bordered in natural stone, which in turn is bordered with lawn to lend an ample area around the pool for relaxing in the warm Tuscany sun.
The villa has been beautifully decorated; the owner’s original intention was to use Casa Puliti for his own family country home. Some of the best features – the ancient wooden doorway, heavy wooden beams and terracotta floors – have been restored to their former glory, while the bathrooms have been finished in marble.
The living-dining room on the ground floor is comfortably furnished and boasts a large fireplace. The spacious kitchen is well equipped with hobs, a large oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher and washing machine.
Also on the ground floor is a guest toilet. A central open stairway leads up to the first floor where there is one double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and two twin bedrooms and a second bathroom.
The twin bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of wardrobe space.
There is a single open bedroom on the second floor/attic conversion; there is a tiny toilet room with washbasin.
The bathrooms are all finished in marble, the ensuite bathroom has a bath tub and the other complete bathroom has a large shower.
A barbecue terrace in the gardens, or the large stone terrace provides a wonderful place to enjoy al fresco meals whilst discussing the day’s adventures

Shiatsu massage :
Shiatsu massage therapy, also known as acupressure, is a finger pressure massage technique. The therapist applies pressure with his thumbs, finger, and palms; sometimes therapist can use his arms, knees and feet pressing specific areas of the client’s body that have been determined during an assessment period during the first part of the massage session. Massage techniques like tapping, squeezing, rubbing, and applied pressure are applied along the meridians to unblock energy blockages and reintroduce the optimal flow of vigour and power. It grant deep muscle and tissue relaxation, stress reduction and management, increased flexibility, reduces mental anxieties, calms nervousness etc.
Our restaurant is open to hotel guests and external clients at the following times: every day from 19.30. From June to September, dinner will be served by candlelight on our panoramic terrace overlooking the Chianti hills.
