Built in the second half of the 1800s, this romantic Villa of the renaissance is today a refined luxury hotel. Situated near Piazzale Michelangelo, not far from Ponte Vecchio, Villa la Vedetta has a breathtaking view upon Florence and will welcome you in the warm atmosphere of its living rooms and 18 wonderful rooms.
Villa la Vedetta is an authentic "Urban Resort" with an unique position in the city of Florence. The Main Villa and the "Romantic Cottage" are surrounded by an italian garden, with an elegant fountain in the center that welcomes our Guests as son as they arrive. The 5 Gran Deluxe rooms of Villa la Vedetta have a surface of 35 square meters. They are particularly bright thanks to the double big windows and they are situated in the main Villa. The Gran Deluxe rooms can benefit from the wonderful view of Florence or from the relaxing view of the italian garden and they are ideal for those who wish a queen-size bed or two double beds.

Unique in the Villa, our Bellavista Suite is absolutely the most unique. It is arranged in two levels and has a surface of 70 square meters. It is provided with two huge windows from which you can enjoy an amazing view of Florence. At the lower floor you can find the bedroom, the living room and the main bathroom. At the second floor you will find a living room corner and the guest bathroom.
Both bathrooms, with marbles and mosaics that match with the room colors, are provided with a whirlpool bath and an exclusively courtesy line of the famous brand "Ortigia".

Whether you are a fan of healthy food or an incurable gourmand, from 7.30 am to 10.30 am we are happy to serve genuine and high-quality products, such as fresh baked pastries, croissants and breads, yogurt, fresh fruits and juices, egg specialties, as well as a choice of cheese and cold meats. Would you prefer a typical international breakfast? We are ready with sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs… and if you fancy for more, we spoil you with a wide selection of specialties expressly prepared for you.
The Restaurant of Villa la Vedetta has received rewards from the most respected international and national culinary guides, becoming a datum point in the florentine food service. Its elegant and gentle location, the cordial service, the rich wine list, focused on the red important ones from Tuscany and the attention to the raw materials are the elements that mark the restaurant. From the garden with the pool two bright French windows led you to the restaurant room where, under a barrel vault, chairs and couches of satin surround tables in crystal and printed leather, in the sophisticated tones of gray, ivory and cream with touches of cherry red.
The bar has its own dedicated space: a counter in onyx marble in the color of honey creates the ideal space for relax and socialization between the guests. Perfect for a cocktail, a work breakfast, to celebrate a particular event or simply for a romantic dinner for two, the Restaurant is open everyday at lunch from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm, and in the evening at dinner time from 7.30 pm to 11 pm even for external customers.
