During your stay here at Hotel Villa Marina, a 5 star hotel & Spa in Capri, you will definitely appreciate our impeccable service, our design rooms decorated with a touch of contemporary creativity, and the charming atmosphere of an early twentieth century home. Our hotel is tucked away in a private garden along the part of the coast that faces the Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples, only steps away from the Piazzetta which is the centre of Capri’s day and night life.
You will easily fall in love with this boutique hotel and the timeless sophistication of its suites, floating in a dreamy atmosphere, surrounded by the crystal clear water of the sea. Here at Villa Marina, each detail is carefully meditated to give you the chance to breathe in the unmistakable essence of the Capri lifestyle and its glamorous mood that is a combination of culture, hedonism and innovative transgression that won the world in the Sixties.
Villa Marina tells the story of Capri at the beginning of the 20th century, a literary, artistic, courageous, hedonistic and unique town. Our passion for that historical period led us to dedicate each room to a different character linked with Capri at that time. Our luxury hotel in Capri boasts 22 different rooms. Each room is inspired by and designed around one of the characters that defined the cultural history of the island.
Nothing was left to chance and every detail has been chosen with extreme care. Likewise, all of the precious plants in the garden have been selected to perfume the air in every month of summer.

Capri isn’t just sun, beaches or trendy nights out with friends. There is a whole world of natural, artistic and marine treasures here to discover for those of you who want to get closer to the island’s soul:
Marina Grande: Right opposite Villa Marina. This is where boats arrive to the island and there is a big beach called Marina Grande and a pretty picturesque village where sailors and fishermen still live today.
Marina Piccola: This is where Scoglio delle Sirene lies, which according to some is where Homer left the mermaids, considered wicked beings who brought sailors to their deaths by singing. This is one of the most popular areas of the island.
The Faraglioni: You can’t miss the Faraglioni, big rocks that are more than 100 metres high and have always stood up proud in front of the island.
The Piazzetta: This is the heart of Capri’s movida and shopping life, where you can stay up till late at night having a chat or drinking in the island’s typical slow-style. This is where the fish market used to be and nowadays the Piazzetta has been nicknamed “the world’s living room”.
Grotta Azzurra: The silver and sapphire-blue colour that dominate the rocks and crystal clear water of this famous grotto will leave you breathless. You will fee as if you were floating in air.
Grotta Verde: In this esmerald-green grotto you can see strips of limestone that are even ten metres tall. It was discovered by a fisherman in 1932 and the light that enters the grotto has enchanted tourists ever since.
Grotta Bianca: You can recognize it for the whiteness of its rocks but only if you go up its steps can you admire it to the full. It has an unrivalled view of the sea from the top.
