Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is a lavish old hotel. It stands proud at the edge of town against back drop of hills, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The public rooms rekindle the spirit of the baroque: a drawing room with a painted ceiling, marble columns, a glittering chandelier, gilt furnishings, and a mirrored neoclassical dining room. The guest rooms are wide-ranging, from elaborate suites with recessed tile bathrooms, baroque furnishings, and lake-view balconies to more simple quarters. The most desirable rooms open onto the lake. You can sunbathe on the waterside terrace or doze under a willow tree. You will taste the best of Italian and international gastronomy at the Hotel's Restaurants, where the chefs will offer you a large variety of dishes such as: The "Agnolotti" of fresh pasta stuffed with artichokes and potatoes with fresh tomato fillets; the "Half Moons" of fresh pasta with a stuffing of red turnips cooked in melted butter and poppy seeds or the mousse of cucumber in tomatoes emulsion.
The Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is one of the oldest and most elegant hotels in the Lake Como area and the only 5 star de-luxe hotel in Bellagio. From April to November the salons and the large lakeside garden offer guests the chance to enjoy a holiday far from the madding crowd and close to nature immersed in one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world.
Lovers of peace and quiet can alternate the pleasure of a poolside drink with beauty treatments and programmes at Villa Serbelloni SPA, the hotel's own beauty farm. Or they can set off from the private dock for a motorboat trip to the historic gardens along the lake which, in Springtime, attract tourists from all over the world: especially for the wonderful flowering of the azaleas.
Lovers of sport can take advantage of the hotel gym and tennis courts, enjoy delightful walks or take a mountain bike out on the Bellagio promontory, before freshening up in the swimming pool overlooking the lake.

The Lake Como and de city
More than 48 kms. (30 miles) north of Milan, romantic and lovely Lake Como is a shimmering deep blue, spanning 4 kms. (2 1/2 miles) at its widest point. With its flower-filled gardens, villas built for the wealthy of the 17th and 18th centuries, and mild climate, it's among the most scenic spots in Italy. The best way to admire the lake's many faces is to take a boat tour and pull into selected ports of call in route for a meal, an espresso, a stroll, or some shopping or swimming.
Como is the principal town and it gives its name to the whole lake. It lies in a green dell surrounded by hills of glacial formation, at the southern of the West branch of the lake. Impressive are the geometrical outlines of the historical centre developed inside the ancient Roman encampment. The city itself centres on the modern Piazza Cavour, which opens onto the lake and divides the lakeside promenade into eastern and western sections. A rail junction and tourist centre, Como is noted for its old established silk industry. It is the site of the National Institute of Silk, with large workshops and laboratories and vocational-training facilities.

This is the only way you can know exactly what room types are available for the dates you want, and the best possible rate, because you are dealing directly with the hotel.
