The Hotel Vistabella is situated on top of a small cliff in the bay of Roses, between Canyelles Petites and the Bonifaci beach. The last one receives its name from the calm waters that are protected from the “Tramuntana” (strong North wind).
The placement is magical, its distance from the city center creates an unthinkable peacefulness during the summer months. It is the ideal hotel for a quick getaway or to spend your holidays. “In Roses the best sunsets of the whole country can be seen…”, wrote Josep Pla, a famous writer. These sunsets together with the spectacular views of the Gulf of Roses award a unique environment.

Hotel Vistabella's History
Roses has a very historical nature, where various Mediterranean cultures were settled. Maybe this is the reason why the Veitl family decided to open a hotel in 1961 at the entrance of the bay, which was once surrounded by the Greeks and Romans. Inaugurated in 1963, the project was created by the famous architect Pelai Martinez, marked to some extent by Eclecticism.
In the early nineties, the hotel experienced significant reforms and changes that led in the year 2000 to become the first five stars in the Northern Costa Brava.
