Waldhotel Bellevue on
the edge of the mountain side commands a breathtaking view over the
picturesque town of Davos Platz, down the valleys to the distant
peaks. Year round, the panorama is captured by every south-facing
balcony - and every bedroom has one! The gastronomic restaurant,
too, makes a feast of the view! So does the umbrella's terrace.
Once a sanatorium made famous by Thomas Mann, Waldhotel Bellevue
uniquely provides a luxurious indoor salt water pool heated to a
pleasant 34°C as part of the extensive facilities of the Wellness
Pavilion. Whilst the hotel imposes itself on the scene, the
atmosphere inside is intimate, warm and welcoming and the staff ever-eager
to please.
Skiing enthusiasts will know Davos for the challenges of its slopes,
chic quality of its shops and its idyllic place in the Alpine
landscape. No such impediments for the Waldhotel Bellevue that lives
up to its name. |
