In our Romantikrestaurant KAISERTERRASSE, we spoil you with our Austrian cuisine and the best from Austrian cellars, as well as an incomparable view of Lake Wolfgang.

We offer Austrian wines from the year 1983 onwards that will please wine lovers. During the summer months, fountains await you in the evenings, directly by the Lake Pool – an unforgettable show and a view for the soul.
For your after-dinner walk, we recommend parking your car on one of the parking spaces near the tunnel exits. For sailboats, there is a possibility of docking at the hotel’s own jetty. Next to the hotel, there is a public boat jetty for motor boats.

Felsenkeller
The performance of Austrian winemakers has found recognition worldwide. Particularly the white wines are regularly among the winners of blind tastings.
We store around 7,000 bottles of the best Austrian wines in our Felsenkeller and are pleased to invite you to wine tastings.
The unique atmosphere of this 18th century facility remaining in shell limestone, will inspire you and provides an exclusive setting for your invitations and celebrations.

In our Felsenkeller, we store true treasures.
Here, top Austrian wines are waiting to pamper your palate. The Rössl landlord personally invites you to taste the good wines in this unique atmosphere. Of course, we also serve all wines stored in our Felsenkeller in our restaurants. Here, you experience Austrian cooking culture and wine culture – on special days, it is part of an artistic social programme: music, dinner & crime, readings.

Breakfast
The Rössl breakfast experience is particulary close to our heart. Time to chat, plan the day in a relaxed manner and allow yourself to be tempted by the delicacies of the inviting buffet.
Our longstanding colleagues, Ms. Anni, Ms. Monika and Ms. Michaela will look after you caringly, while you glance at the wonderful panorama. On Sunday morning, Michaela Gnesda, your hostess in the hotel, invites you to a champagne breakfast with piano accompaniment. A pleasant day begins with a good breakfast.

Around one hour’s drive from the Weissen Rössl, you will find two golf courses embedded into the wonderful landscape of the Salzkammergut and the alpine foothills. Our hotel is a founding member of the Salzkammergut golf course (18 holes) and offers you specially discounted green fees.
 

WINTER EXPERIENCE

The nearest airport is not far away, in order to escape the winter, summer is only a few hours’ flight away. In contrast, we invite you to experience the winter at Lake Wolfgang, even if you should not want to ski: Hiking, curling, cross-country skiing, sledging, snowshoe hiking with fantastic views in clear winter air. If you are a skier or would like to become one: The nearby skiing regions offer skiing fun and fun sports for the whole family!

No matter whether it is from our Lake Pool that is heated to 30°C throughout the year or from the wonderfully refreshing lake, it is a feeling of being reborn!

SKIING AND CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
The Nordic Walkers of the summer can be found on the cross-country skiing paths of the winter. We recommend the best paths in the Salzkammergut to you, where you ski from view to view and also always find another reason to stop, simply to look around and take a breather.

CYCLING/BICYCLE RENTAL
For you, dear hotel guests, a bicycle of your choice is available to you at any time from the St. Wolfganger Radverleih, which also offers guided bicycle tours. On largely car-free bicycle paths, you can roam through the Salzkammergut at will and experience the mountains and lakes of this unique natural and cultural landscape.

Running/Walking/Hiking
With 125km of precisely signposted paths around the lake, we will show you the best running routes.
The boundaries between an unhurried walk, over a conditioning walking experience, right up to Alpinist challenges are blurred. Every route can easily be adapted to individual fitness and personal preferences. There is ample choice, just as there are ample comprehensible maps.
Nordic Walking is ideal total body training that ensures fitness and conditioning. The use of the poles relieves the joints, so that you move forward through the landscape with a spring in your step. You will also find a wide variety of paths with varying degrees of difficulty all around Lake Wolfgang.
