The Hotel Abbaye de Maizières **** is ideally situated in the historical center of Beaune, a picturesque town, in a pretty cobbled street (no parking possible in our alley). It features a restaurant and the hotel offers free WiFi internet access. Each of the guest rooms is traditionally decorated with antique furniture and equipped with a private bathroom. The rooms are accessed from a spiral staircase in the tower. A daily breakfast is served in the vaulted stone cellar. The gourmet-style restaurant, La Table de Cédric Burtin, serves candle-lit meals for dinner accompanied by fine wines from Burgundy. Reservations for the restaurant must be made after booking. Abbaye de Maizieres is just a few steps from the Notre-Dame Basilica and 350 m from the Hospices de Beaune. The hotel can arrange wine tours of the nearby Cote de Beaune vineyards.
The Entrance of the hotel is in the cellar, beautiful vaulted door with Cistercian glasses. This residence is known as Maizières Abbey because it was owned by the monks of Maizières Abbey from 1301 until the French Revolution, when the Church's properties were confiscated. Broken up in 1789, Petit Maizières Abbey has, for some years, been largely reassembled by Bruno Epailly, and now accommodates a beautiful BOUTIQUE HOTEL.
In the former monks' winery, forget the outside, forget the hours, take a dip in the splendid swimming pool. Open from 9.00am till 8.00pm every day.

When you fill the form below it will go directly to Abbaye de Maizières. This is the best way to find out exactly what accommodation types are available for the date(s) you want at the best rate. Bear in mind that booking engines charge a commission of 20% or more, to the hotels, so you can never compare the rate they quote, with the one directly from the hotel. Furthermore, search engines that provide online booking, work with allocated room quotas given by the hotels, therefore, the information they provide is not absolutely trustworthy, since hotels never allocate all their rooms to third parties.
