Cologne’s city centre is an environmental zone. Only cars having a valid eco-sticker (Feinstaubplakette) are allowed to enter. If you wish we will help you to organize the eco-sticker.

The porter parks your car across the street in the multi-storey car park which has closed-circuit TV cameras installed. There you can find reserved parking spaces for our hotel guests. On demand, he will drive up your car at the hotel’s entrance.

Destination guide for train

Leave Cologne Central Station using the main entrance which faces the Cathedral. Walk straight on into Trankgasse, the Cathedral must be on your left hand side, now. After approximately 150 m, you will see the Excelsior Hotel Ernst on your right hand side.

We are glad to meet you at the platform and to bring you and your luggage to the hotel. Just inform our concierge about your arrival time and your coach number.
