Hotel De Rome is one of the most prestigious hotels in Berlin. Once the headquarters of the Dresdner bank, there’s a fascinating history to discover within its walls. Take a dip in the swimming pool, located in the former jewel vault; visit the grand ballroom in what was once the old cashier’s hall; and fall asleep in an oak-panelled suite in the old bank director offices. The exceptional Berlin hotel offers outstanding hospitality, sublime cuisine and first-rate facilities. Located on Bebelplatz, in the heart of the city, Hotel de Rome is also within easy reach of Berlin’s key attractions.
Step through the impressive stone entranceway, with its grand Atelier Prométhée magenta urns and Olivia Steele’s neon birdcage, and you’ll immediately be met by a sense of glamour. Swim a few laps in the jade-coloured waters of our indoor swimming pool, housed within the former jewel vault. And after dark, watch the Berlin skyline light up while sipping cocktails on the Rooftop Terrace.
When you’re finally ready for bed, retreat to your supremely comfortable suite and sink into a sumptuous king-sized bed. Blending heritage design with elegant contemporary furnishings, we can’t think of a better place to drift off to sleep in the heart of Berlin.
Our five meeting rooms are perfect for both corporate and social events in central Berlin. Naturally lit and equipped with the latest technology, they can accommodate up to 90 guests for your Berlin conference or event. A separate entrance provides private access. For larger events, our grand ballroom holds up to 250 guests. This former cashier’s hall has high ceilings, a glass roof and an original mosaic floor. For open-air events, our Rooftop Terrace can host up to 160 guests.
