By car:
From the north (Hamburg/Rostock):
Merge from the A111 to the Berlin city ring road (A100) towards the city centre (Zentrum); exit at Spandauer Damm, passing Charlottenburg Palace, up to the roundabout at Ernst-Reuter-Platz. There, take the second exit towards the zoo, passing the Gedächtniskirche church; get into the right-hand lane and turn right into the hotel drive after about 200m/220 yards.
From the east (Frankfurt an der Oder):
Take the A12 to the Dreieck Spreeau interchange then merge onto the A10 towards Potsdam, Berlin city centre, Dresden, Magdeburg. Travel along the A10 for about 14 km/9 miles. At the Schönefelder Kreuz intersection, change onto the A113 towards Berlin city centre (Zentrum) and change onto the A100 at the Buschkrugallee junction. Take the Wexstraße exit. Turn right into Bundesplatz/Bundesallee. Travel along the street, keeping to the left, then drive through the tunnel. Next, keep to the right and, from Joachimsthaler Straße, turn right into Kantstraße. Travel along the road, keeping to the right, past the Gedächtniskirche church; after about 200m/220 yards turn right into the hotel drive.
From the south (Nuremberg/Hanover):
Take the A2 or A9 to the Dreieck Werder interchange, where you take the A10 to the Dreieck Nuthetal interchange. There, join the A115 towards Berlin-Zehlendorf and on towards the city centre (Zentrum). Turn left at the large glass Neues Kranzler Eck building, then right at the next set of traffic lights and travel along the road, keeping to the right, past the Gedächtniskirche church, before turning right into the hotel drive after about 200m/220 yards.
From the west (Hanover/Magdeburg):
Take the A2 to the Dreieck Werder interchange, where you take the A10 to the Dreieck Nuthetal interchange. There, join the A115 towards Berlin-Zehlendorf and on towards the city centre (Zentrum). Turn left at the large glass Neues Kranzler Eck building, then right at the next set of traffic lights and travel along the road, keeping to the right, past the Gedächtniskirche church, before turning right into the hotel drive after about 200m/220 yards.

From the Airport
Berlin-Tegel - TXL (9 km, 5, 5 miles)
- Taxi: 20-30 minutes
- Bus: X9 22 minutes, to Zoologischer Garten stop (every 10 mins)
- Berlin Brandenburg Airport [BER] (28 km, 17 miles)
- Taxi: 30 minutes
- Local railway: The Airport-Express from Berlin Brandenburg airport to Zoologischer Garten takes about 33 minutes. The specially marked regional trains on routes RE7 and RB14 leave every half an hour.These trains can be used with local public transport tickets. The route is in fare zone C.

By rail
On the local railwy to Bahnhof Zoo station:
